Fire crews tackle van blaze close to Nantwich traffic lights

Fire crews tackled a van blaze on a busy road in Nantwich, with occupants getting out safely.
On Saturday 21 February, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service received reports of an incident on Chester Road, Acton, close to Bluestone lights.
At 7.34am, one fire engine and one Rapid Response Rescue Unit from Nantwich arrived the scene, discovering the vehicle "well-alight."
Nantwich firefighters used two hose reel jets to put out the flames.
No one was injured in the incident, with the cause of the fire not believed to be suspicious.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish a van well-alight in Nantwich.
"A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots."
