Dear Nantwich readers, I would like to take the opportunity to wish residents a Happy Christmas, and to thank you all for reading this year.
Over 18 months in, one of the great privileges of producing Nantwich Nub News is being constantly reminded of what a special town we live in.
Nantwich's history is woven into almost every street, building and corner , from its salt-making heritage to the stunning Tudor architecture that still defines the town centre today.
It is not history locked away in books or museums, it is history we walk through every day.
Nowhere is this more evident than on our high street. At a time when many town centres across the country are struggling, Nantwich continues to stand out and thrive.
Independent shops, family-run businesses, cafés, pubs and markets all play their part in creating a high street that feels alive, welcoming, authentic and proudly local.
This didn't happen by accident. It is a testament to the passion of local traders, the loyalty of residents, and a community that understands the value of supporting what's on its doorstep.
Every purchase, every visit and every recommendation helps to keep Nantwich thriving while so many other high streets are losing their identity.
As always, Nantwich Nub News is here to celebrate that spirit, sharing your stories, highlighting local businesses and championing the town we're all proud to call home.
Thank you for continuing to support us and Nantwich, as our readership and social media followers continue to grow.
Warm regards,
Ryan Parker
Chief Reporter & Editor.
