Couple reported after leaving dogs tied to tree at Nantwich car park

A couple have been reported to the RSPCA after two dogs were left tied to a tree at a Nantwich pub car park.
The spaniels were found at Cronkinson's Farm, Stapeley, on Saturday 8 August.
CCTV captured a woman and her partner leaving the dogs at around 2pm, the couple had two young children with them.
The popular pub said they had the details of the woman and her partner and had reported them to the RSPCA.
Cronkinson Farm said: "I have taken your dogs to Eden vets (not that you have returned to get them, if you had accidentally forgot about them).
"This is not how you rehome your dogs. Massive thanks Eden Vets for taking them in.
"Just to add there is CCTV of this lady and her partner leaving the dogs at around 2pm, I haven't posted that as they had two young children with them.
"Hopefully the dogs get to find a family that will look after them properly. Thanks everyone."
The dogs remain with Eden Vets. Nub News has contacted the RSPCA for comment.
