Competition: Win a Nantwich Town FC VIP experience as club celebrates 140 years

Nantwich Town FC in partnership with Nub News, is offering two lucky readers the chance to win a VIP experience for the match against Congleton Town FC this weekend.

One hundred and forty years ago to this day (27 September 1884), Nantwich Town FC played their very first official match in a game against Chester Rovers.

The Dabbers unfortunately lost 1-0, but since then have grown in stature and have become very much part of the local community.

Live music is taking place both before and after the Nantwich Town FC match, coming from local musician Steve Robinson (Nantwich Town FC).

Nantwich Town FC boasts 72 teams, including under 6 boys and girls, veteran, walking, disabled and visually impaired to name a few and now has over 750 registered players.

The men's first team, who now play in the Northern Premier League West Division, welcome Cheshire East rivals Congleton to the Swansway Stadium on Saturday 28 September at 3pm.

It promises to be a very entertaining and hard fought game, with the Dabbers looking to get a first win for interim manager Jon Moran. 

It will be very entertaining off the pitch too, with live music both before and after the game, coming from local musician Steve Robinson.

Starting from 1.30pm, there will be a fully stocked and licensed bar, as well as food provided by the on-site Tea Lounge.

Nantwich Town FC has just taken delivery of additional stock of is new home and away kit, on sale at both the club shop and its new pop up shop in the main Atherton Suite.
