223 incidents and 22 arrests recorded across Nantwich in two weeks

Nantwich Police recorded 223 incidents between Sunday 5 April and Saturday 18 April, with violence and harassment making up the largest proportion at 17 per cent.
Domestic-related incidents accounted for 14.3 per cent of reports, followed by concern for safety (9.9 per cent), highway disruption (7.6 per cent) and suspicious activity (6.3 per cent).
A total of 88 crimes were recorded during the period. These included 24 assaults, (15 without injury), as well as five offences for possession of drugs and five residential burglaries.
There were also four incidents involving assaults on police officers.
Across the area, Nantwich North and West recorded the highest number of crimes with 28, closely followed by Nantwich South and Stapeley with 27.

Bunbury saw nine offences, while Wrenbury, Wybunbury and Audlem each recorded eight.
Police made 22 arrests over the two weeks. Of those detained, 16 were male and six female, with ages ranging from 14 to 59.
Only eight of those arrested were Nantwich residents.
Offences linked to the arrests included drink driving, assault, drunk and disorderly behaviour, stalking and trespass on the railway.
Of the 22 arrests, five individuals were released with no further action, six were charged, two remain under investigation, six were released on bail and three were dealt with using out of court disposals.
A Nantwich Police spokesperson said: "Over the past two weeks, we've continued our patrols across the area, responding to incidents, carrying out proactive work, and maintaining a visible presence to help keep our community safe."
