Suspected drink driver arrested after vehicle ploughs into parked car in Nantwich

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving, after crashing into a parked car in Nantwich.

On Monday 16 February, Cheshire Police were alerted to an incident on Queens Drive.

Around 1am, officers arrived at the scene, discovering a parked vehicle had been smashed into.

Police located the driver of the vehicle, arresting a 31-year-old male.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "At around 1am on Monday 16 February, police were called to reports of a collision on Queens Drive, Nantwich, in which a car had collided with a parked car.

"A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.

"There were no reports of any injuries."
