Step out with South Cheshire village's ‘Tea at the Tower’ walks

The much-loved monthly 'Tea at the Tower' guided walks from St Mary's Church on Monks Lane in Acton, near Nantwich, continue to be a fantastic way for local people to enjoy fresh air, stunning countryside, and a dose of community spirit.
The next walk takes place on Sunday 5 October, with an autumn route promising some of the area's most scenic views.
Walkers should meet outside St Mary's at 12:45pm, ready to set off at 1pm sharp. Free parking is available at Acton village car park on Chester Road.

The walk is relaxed in pace, making it suitable for all ages and abilities.
Sturdy footwear is recommended, and four-legged friends on leads are very welcome to join too.
Afterwards, homemade cakes and hot drinks will be served at the 'Tea at the Tower' community café, run by church volunteers, open every Sunday from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.

All proceeds from the walks and café help support the upkeep of St Mary's Church, a Grade I-listed building and a much-loved part of local heritage.
Other future walk dates from St Mary's, Acton, are Sunday 2 November and Sunday 7 December.
