Friday - Michael Head & The Red Elastic Band @ Nantwich Words & Music Festival
Michael Head & The Red Elastic Band are performing live at Nantwich Words & Music Festival on Friday 18 October.
Taking place from 7.30pm at Nantwich Civic Hall, Mick Head explores themes of escape and redemption, reflecting his journey from the struggles of addiction to a love-filled present.
His recent acclaimed work, "Dear Scott," marked a pivotal moment in his recovery, leading to renewed connections with his children and a marriage in late 2023.
11th studio album, 'Loophole,' is a deeply personal album, with tracks like 'Ciao Ciao Bambino' inspired by his early life and others like 'Coda' connecting to his past work.

Saturday - Afro Celt Sound System @ Nantwich Words & Music Festival
Afro Celt Sound System are performing live at Nantwich Words & Music Festival on Saturday 19 October.
Taking place from 7.30pm at Nantwich Civic Hall, Afro Celt Sound System have been raising the roof at festivals for over 20 years.
Pioneers of the world music scene, their ground breaking fusion of African, Gaelic and Bhangra sounds have won the hearts of millions and seen them notch up 2 Grammy nominations and one and a half million album sales.
They are back on the UK for the first time in a long while, bringing their vibrant, colourful and genre-defying show to Nantwich. For tickets click HERE.
Sunday - Julia Fordham at Nantwich Words & Music Festival
Julia Fordham is performing live at Nantwich Words & Music Festival on Sunday 20 October.
Taking place from 7.30pm, Julia Fordham plays at Nantwich Civic Hall to close the 2024 festival.
Performing an array of her classic songs including 'Happy Ever After', 'Where Does The Time Go,' 'Porcelain, Girlfriend,' 'Love Moves (In Mysterious Ways)' and 'Manhattan Skyline' alongside songs from her forthcoming album.
Known the world over for her stunningly rich voice and intelligent and heartfelt lyrics, Julia has worked with esteemed producer Larry Klein and collaborated with such artists as Paul Reiser, Michael McDonald and India Arie.
