Richmond Villages Nantwich recently participated in the much-loved Nantwich Christmas Tree Festival, and has put up deocations of its own around the retirement community.
Residents proudly showcased the talent of the village’s knitting group, whose handmade knitted teddies brought warmth and character to this year’s tree.
Visitors were invited to choose a knitted teddy to take home and cherish, leaving a handwritten note on the tree to share where their teddy would be going and what makes its new home special.

Village Manager, Lynne Griffin, told Nub News: “It was a lovely event. Our residents were pleased to take part again this year and share their passion for knitting with the community.
"Richmond Villages Nantwich is proud to support this celebration of creativity, kindness, and community togetherness.”
The event brought together the residents of Richmond Villages Nantwich and the wider Nantwich community, who gathered at the church to admire the beautifully decorated trees and enjoy a heartwarming local tradition.
