A South Cheshire laundry service is celebrating the reopening of its newly renovated reception area with a special 20 per cent discount on all wet-clean items for a limited time.

Sunrise Green Clean, Unit 4, Gateway, Crewe, has renovated its front-of-house space following significant flooding caused by a burst pipe in January.

Run by Chris Gillard, wife, Sam, daughter Danielle, (responsible for operations), and most recently, son, Rob, the family business had grown from strength-to-strength since its launch in 2018.

A burst pipe at Sunrise in January caused significant flooding, leaving the ceiling in tatters (Sunrise).

The unexpected damage, which left the ceiling in tatters, prompted a full refurbishment of Sunrise's reception area.

Despite this setback, the business worked hard to get everything back on track, reopening its reception on Friday 28 March.

Rob Gillard worked on the renovation, with Eagles Electrics Ltd assisting with the electrical works.

A spokesperson for Sunrise Laundry told Nub News: "We are very grateful to our loyal customers who continued to use our services during the period our shop was inaccessible.

"Many of whom were intrigued by the sight of linen items being pressed, folded, and stacked by our team, assisted by one of our two £145,000 new ironer lines and of course, Tamara, who dealt with most of the customers requiring service and even provided a couple of guided tours to some particularly curious customers."

Customers can now enjoy a refreshed reception area while benefiting from the promotional discount on wet-clean items, an eco-friendly cleaning method suitable for most dry-clean-only garments.

Sunrise Laundry offers free and convenient customer parking, located on the doorstep of the premises.

The Gateway business is open for its wet cleaning service from 7am to 4.30pm (Monday to Thursday), 7am to 3pm (Friday) and 8am to 1pm (Saturday).
