Shavington Village Festival event to take place at end of June

The annual ‘Shavington Village Festival’ will take place on Saturday 29 June on Main Road and Shavington Primary School field (Jonathan White).

The annual Shavington Village Festival will take place on Saturday 29 June on Main Road and Shavington Primary School field in the village. 

Running from 12pm to 4pm, there will be stalls, fairground rides, a dog show, Tombola, BBQ and a land train.

Numerous local organisations and charities will be represented including Shavington-cum-Gresty Parish Council and Woodnoth cum Shavington WI.

A representative from the Shavington Village Festival Committee told Nub News: "We are looking forward to hosting the village festival, an ever-popular annual event that first started in 1977. 

"Our committee has been working hard to ensure a fun filled day for all! Please come down and support local businesses and organisations."

The Shavington Village Festival is organised by the Shavington Village Festival Committee who have been serving the community since 1977.

The Shavington Village Festival has been held in the village since 1977 (Shavington Parish Council).
