RSPCA fundraiser garners over £2,000 to help care for Nantwich animals

An RSPCA fundraiser has helped to raise thousands of pounds for the Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre in Nantwich.
Thanks to a wine and cheese evening held on 11 September at the centre, £2,150 was raised to help care for the area's animal population.
The money raised will cover vital medical equipment to help sick, injured and orphaned wildlife cared for by staff at Stapeley Grange.
As well as the contributing guests, local company Falcon Wealth Management also provided a generous donation.
Lee Stewart, centre manager, said: "We're overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone who came along. The support from our community means we can continue to provide life-saving care for the thousands of wild animals that come through our doors each year.
"Public donations are crucial to the work at Stapeley Grange, and events like these highlight how individuals and companies can make a real difference to the welfare of local wildlife."
If you fancy getting involved in some more fundraising efforts, a date for the diary is Sunday 7 December when Stapeley Grange will be hosting its annual Christmas Fair.
Or, if you'd like to support the centre - whether through fundraising, donations or partnerships - you can find out more by contacting the Centre Manager at [email protected].
