The well-regarded 'Proms at Acton' concert is set to return for its fourth year on Remembrance Sunday 9 November, with the music starting at 6:30pm inside the beautiful St Mary's Church, Acton.

Inspired by the world-famous Last Night of the Proms, the evening will be packed with uplifting patriotic favourites, including the rousing Land of Hope & Glory, performed by the highly acclaimed Nantwich Concert Band and outstanding soprano soloists Sarah Williamson and Jessica Thayer.

With free parking at Acton village car park, Chester Road, getting there couldn't be easier.

Proms At Acton will be packed with uplifting patriotic favourites, including the rousing Land of Hope & Glory (Jonathan White).

Tickets are just £10 and can be picked up at the weekly Tea at the Tower community café (every Sunday, 2.30pm to 4:30pm at St Mary's), or reserved by calling Stephan on 01270 624135 or 07731 800663.

Funds raised will go to the Royal British Legion, supporting the Armed Forces community and their vital work, including the annual Poppy Appeal.

A representative from St Mary's Church said: "The Proms at Acton has become a real highlight of our year.

"It is a wonderful way to bring people together in music and remembrance, while raising funds for such an important cause."
