Road closes after crafter van crashes into traffic lights in Nantwich

A Volkswagen crafter van crashed into traffic lights in Nantwich this morning (November 14), with emergency services called to the scene.
Around 5.20am, Cheshire Police and Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to Welsh Row.
On arrival, emergency services discovered a white Volkswagen crafter van had collided with a set of traffic lights.
There were no reports of any injuries, with the vehicle and lights damaged.
Fire crews from Crewe and Nantwich used absorbent mats to soak up fluids that had leaked from the vehicle.
Welsh Row was closed by police while the incident was dealt with. It reopened around 6.50am.
A Cheshire Police spokanesperson told Nub News: "At 5.20am on Thursday 14 November, police were called to reports of a collision on Welsh Row, Nantwich.
Officers attended and found the incident involved a white Volkswagen crafter van which had collided with a set of traffic lights.
"There were no reports of any injuries and officers left the scene at 6.50am."
