The much-loved Weaver Wander classic car rally is set to roll back into Nantwich this May, with over 130 vehicles already confirmed for the 2026 event.

Organised by the Rotary Club of Crewe and Nantwich Weaver, the annual showcase of classic and sports cars will take place on Saturday 16 May.

In a welcome return for enthusiasts and spectators alike, this year's rally will once again begin in Nantwich Town Square, the first time for several years the historic setting has been used as the official start point.

Vehicles will be flagged off from 10.30am by the new Mayor of Nantwich, Councillor Kim Jamson, marking one of her first civic engagements.

Earlier in the morning, entrants will gather at Crewe Vagrants Sports Club in Willaston from 8am for registration before heading into town for the ceremonial start.

Drivers will then embark on a choice of scenic routes through Cheshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire. Participants can choose between three routes of around 70 miles or a shorter 50-mile option, taking in areas such as the Peak District and Staffordshire Moorlands.

All routes will finish back at Crewe Vagrants Sports Club, where prizes are due to be presented at approximately 3.15pm.
