New Italian shop submits alcohol licence to open in Nantwich town centre

A new shop has confirming to Nub News it plans to launch in Nantwich town centre in December.

This October, La Dolce Vita Pasticheeria Ltd submitted a premises licence application to Cheshire East Council on behalf of 3 Church Lane.

La Dolce Vita Pasticheeria proposes to sell alcohol, Monday to Sunday, from 11am to 9pm, at the former Olea Italian Cafe and Kitchen unit.

The dessert business, which sells homemade Italian pastry, birthday cakes and sweet treats for any occasion, is a regular trader at Nantwich markets.

La Dolce Vita Pasticheeria told Nub News while it currently doesn't have a specific opening date, internal works are progressing ready for opening before Christmas.

The premises licence application reads: "Notice is hereby given that, La Dolce Vita Pasticceria LTD have applied on 27 October 2025 to Cheshire East Council in respect of the premises known as 3 Church Lane, Nantwich, CW5 5RQ, for a premises licence to provide the following licensable activity: 

"Sale of alcohol, Monday to Sunday, 11am to 11pm.

"Representations shall be made in writing to the below address on or before the following date: 24 November 2025."

Representations to La Dolce Vita Pasticceria's application shall be made in writing to Cheshire East Council Licensing Section on or before Monday 24 November.
