A brand-new independent business is bringing joy to Nantwich's dog-loving community.

Canine Creations Cheshire's Local Barkery, Pillory Street, opened on Saturday 15 November, with a colourful new haven filled with treats, toys, and wag-worthy goodies for four-legged friends.

The shop is owned and run by Zoe and her partner Nick, whose passion for dogs, especially their own Frenchie, Winston, has shaped every part of the business.

Canine Creations began several years ago on Nantwich Market, where Zoe and Nick first sold their handmade dog treats.

As demand grew, the business flourished, leading them to a base at Regents Park for the past two years. Now, their dream has come to life with the opening of their very own town-centre barkery.

The new shop features a welcoming retail area full of handmade and natural dog treats, their exclusive harness range designed entirely in-house, and a whole array of crafted accessories.

At the back, visitors can peek into the working bakery and watch the team preparing fresh doggy cakes and treats throughout the day.

Canine Creations also collaborates with talented local artists, offering hand-designed cushions that can feature your own pet, alongside stunning dog portraits that pair perfectly with their handmade blankets, snoods, and snuggle sacks.

Zoe's inspiration came during the Covid lockdown, when she struggled to find suitable treats for Winston, who suffers from allergies.

Determined to create something better, she and Nick built a brand focused on high-quality, allergy-friendly treats, eco-conscious products, and beautiful, durable accessories.

Zoe and Nick said: "Opening our own shop in the heart of Nantwich feels like a dream come true.

"Every treat, toy, and accessory we make is inspired by our love for Winston and our passion for helping other dog owners find products they can trust.

"We can't wait to welcome everyone, and their pups, into our new barkery!"

Canine Creations Cheshire Local Barkery is open Monday to Wednesday: (10am to 4pm), Thursday and Friday: (9am to 4pm), Saturday, (9am to 5pm) and Sunday (10am to 3pm).
