The Wingate Centre has launched Wingate Holidays to give children and adults with additional needs the chance to enjoy a comfortable, safe and memorable break with their family or group near Nantwich.
The new fully accessible, self-catering accommodation means parents of children with special educational needs and disabilities can enjoy a stress-free holiday without worrying about accessibility and other issues.
Sitting in The Wingate Centre's grounds at Wrenbury, Wingate Holidays is also perfect for disability groups and sports teams, solo travellers, and carers and their clients looking for an independent stay.
The centre has already been providing accessible residential accommodation for schools and other organisations for many years, as part of its work to give people with additional needs the chance to be more active.
Now, it's revamped and opened up its accommodation so families and groups who might otherwise struggle to book a holiday can also enjoy the Wingate's facilities.

General Manager at The Wingate Centre, Ian Linton, says: "We know it's a challenge for families and groups to find somewhere to book for a holiday or short break that's fully accessible, inviting, safe and calm.
"So, we've tapped into what we've learned over decades supporting children and adults with SEND to enable people with additional needs the opportunity to be fully included in their family or group getaway.
"Our new, modern holiday accommodation blends accessibility with comfort, so it's ideal for guests whatever their needs – from wheelchair accessibility to SEND."
Guests can choose from two en-suite holiday lets, now available to book in Wingate Holidays' first phase.
Sleeping up to six (if booked together), both have been carefully designed with accessibility and comfort in mind.
Situated on the ground floor with level access throughout, features include ceiling hoists, wet room bathrooms, wide doorways and plenty of space to move freely.
All guests share a fully accessible self-catering kitchen and a lounge, and there's free on-site parking.
Guests have access to outdoor spaces, the on-site Sunshine Cafe and a packed programme of activities available to book, from trampolining and dance to cookery and drama.
Occupying a central location within two hours of Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham, and close to the Welsh border, the Wingate is within easy reach of major accessible tourist attractions, such as Chester Zoo.
Every holiday booking also supports The Wingate Centre's work to brighten the lives of children and adults with SEND. To book a stay or find out more, visit HERE.
