Nantwich woman, 35, charged with drink driving after being stopped in Crewe
A Nantwich woman is set to appear in court next month on the charge of drink driving, after being pulled over by police in Crewe.
On Wednesday 15 January, Cheshire Police noticed a car driving suspiciously on University Way.
Officers stopped the vehicle, with the driver, a 35-year-old woman, failing a roadside breath test.
Rachel Duckett, of Nantwich, has since been charged with drink driving.
Duckett has been bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 5 February.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "At 2.25am on Wednesday 5 January, police stopped a car on University Way in Crewe.
"The driver was arrested after failing a roadside breath test.
"Rachel Duckett, 35, of Nantwich, has since been charged with drink driving.
"She has been bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 5 February."
