Nantwich will fall silent for a Remembrance Sunday service and parade held in the town centre this weekend (November 10).
The Nantwich Remembrance Sunday Service is organised by Nantwich Town Council in partnership with the Nantwich branch of the Royal British Legion.
2024's parade will start at 10.30am from Nantwich Civic Hall, proceeding along Market Street and Churchyardside into Nantwich Town Square.
The Remembrance Sunday Service will commence at 11am from the square's War Memorial.
It will consist of a two-minute silence (11am), performance from the Cheshire Constabulary Band and wreath-laying. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Nantwich Town Council said: "Join us for the Annual Act of Remembrance on Sunday 10 November 2024.
"The day will commence with a parade starting at 10:30am from Nantwich Civic Hall, proceeding along Market Street, then Churchyardside, and concluding at the Square.
"The Act of Remembrance service will be held at the War Memorial on the square.
"The service will include a two-minute silence, wreath-laying, and a performance by the Cheshire Constabulary Band.
