Nantwich residents are invited to come together to honour those who have served at the town's annual Act of Remembrance.

Nantwich Town Council has confirmed arrangements for Remembrance Sunday on Sunday 8 November, with a parade through the town centre followed by a service at the War Memorial.

The parade will set off from Nantwich Civic Hall at 10.30am before proceeding along Market Street and Churchyardside, concluding at The Square.

The Act of Remembrance will begin at the War Memorial at 11am and will include a two-minute silence to remember those who have lost their lives in conflict.

This service will also feature wreath-laying and a performance by the Cheshire Constabulary Band.

The concert will feature the Cheshire Constabulary Band and Corps of Drums, alongside the Black Watch Association Pipes and Drums (Stoke-on-Trent Branch).

Tickets cost £15, including the booking fee, with proceeds supporting the Poppy Appeal. They can be purchased HERE, in person at Nantwich Civic Hall Box Office or by calling 01270 628633.
