Staff and pupils at Wybunbury Delves CofE Primary School are proudly celebrating a 'Strong Standard' report following its latest inspection released from 3 February.

The Bridge Street school, based just outside Nantwich, achieved a Strong Standard across several key areas including early years provision, attendance and behaviour, and personal development and wellbeing.

The report highlights a thriving school community where pupils attend very well with rates consistently above the national average.

Headteacher, Kathryn Chesters, told Nub News: "I am incredibly proud Ofsted has recognised the dedication and hard work of our children, staff and community.

"Under a rigorous new inspection framework, our commitment to ensuring pupils 'feel valued, supported and encouraged to shine' has been acknowledged as being at the heart of everything we do.

"We are a school that acts as a family. Seeing our children described as 'highly respectful, kind, and caring' is fantastic.

"We are delighted that the personal development and wellbeing grading is recognised in the Strong standard. We are thrilled with this report and excited to continue our learning journey."

Inspectors identified Wybunbury Delves has a commitment to the wellbeing of every child.

The inspection report says "leaders create an environment where pupils feel included and cared for".

This supportive culture ensures "pupils feel valued, supported and encouraged to shine" while enjoying a curriculum that promotes genuine curiosity.

Reflecting on the school's nurturing environment, the report says "staff know every child well and build trusting relationships that help pupils feel safe and confident".

This personal approach is deeply felt by the children themselves as "pupils describe the school as a family where adults listen and offer support".

The school's early years provision was particularly praised for its immediate impact on young learners.

Inspectors observed "from the moment children enter the school, their curiosity and engagement are evident". This high-quality start ensures children are well prepared for the next stage of their education.

Beyond the classroom, the school provides a vibrant range of activities. The report found "rich experiences beyond the classroom deepen pupils' learning and strengthen understanding".

From residential trips to a wide variety of clubs like Lego and football, pupils at Wybunbury Delves benefit from a holistic education.

Leaders said they are delighted with these results which reflect the "hard work of staff, pupils, and the wider community."

They invite prospective parents to come and experience this wonderful environment for themselves.
