Nantwich celebrity resident, Kim Woodburn, who rose to fame during the 2000s died on Monday 16 June, aged 83, following a short illness.

Kim, a former cleaner from Eastney, Hampshire, is well-known for presenting Channel 4 TV reality show "How Clean Is Your House?" alongside Aggie MacKenzie between 2003 and 2009.

After leaving the show, KIm moved to Nantwich with husband Peter, after visiting the South Cheshire town in an episode of the hit show.

That year, she also starred in the ninth series of I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, finishing as runner-up to Gino D'Acampo.

Kim Woodburn, who came second in ITV's 'I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!' moved to Nantwich in 2009 with husband Peter, after visiting the town filming 'How Clean Is Your House?' (ITV).

Kim appeared on the 19th series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2017, finishing in third place behind Coleen Nolan and Jedward.

She also regularly contributed to This Morning and Loose Women until 2018, as well as appearing on Hell's Kitchen, Richard & Judy, The Paul O'Grady Show, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, Celebrity Eggheads, Countdown and many more.

A representative for Kim said in a statement: "It is with immense sadness that we let you know our beloved Kim Woodburn passed away yesterday following a short illness.

"Kim was an incredibly kind, caring, charismatic and strong person. Her husband Peter is heartbroken at the loss of his soulmate.

"We are so proud of the amazing things Kim achieved in her life and career.

"We kindly ask that Kim's husband and close friends are given the time and privacy they need to grieve. We will not be releasing any further details."
