Major South Cheshire road to close for carriageway patching

Cheerbrook Road, between Cheerbrook Roundabout and Wybunbury Road, will to close at 8am on Monday 22 September (Google).

A major road in Nantwich is set to close during daytime hours this September, allowing carriageway patching works to take place.

Cheerbrook Road, between Cheerbrook Roundabout and Wybunbury Road, will to close at 8am on Monday 22 September.

The South Cheshire road will then remain closed, between 8am and 4pm, until Wednesday 24 September.

Cheshire East Highways is responsible for this closure, allowing the machine patching works to take place.

The alternative route will be via: Wybunbury Road, Wistaston Road, Crewe Road, Nantwich Road Roundabout, Nantwich Bypass, Roundabout A500 Cheerbrook.

In a letter to local residents, Cheshire East Highways said: "We will make every effort to maintain vehicle access to your property or business.

"However, due to the nature of the works some inconvenience may still occur and there will be times when point of entry will vary.

"There may also be delays in access due to ongoing plant and machinery movements."
