Fire crews tackle blaze at commercial premises near Nantwich

Fire crews tackled a serious blaze at a commercial premises near Nantwich, with no one reported to have been injured.
On Sunday 8 June, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to an incident on Wrenbury Road, Aston.
At 10.23pm, one fire engine from Nantwich and two from Crewe arrived at the scene, discovering smoke pouring out of a machine containing grain.
The South Cheshire firefighters used a hose reel jet to dampen down the machine, before emptying it of its contents.

A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots. Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service are confident there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the blaze.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Crews were called to a machine containing grain that was smoking at a commercial premises in Aston.
"Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to dampen down the machine.
"Crews worked to empty the machine of its contents, and a thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots."
