Fire crews response to Nantwich alarm turns out to be 'burnt cooking'

Fire crews responded to a loud alarm sounding in Nantwich, which turned out to be from burnt cooking.
On Wednesday 15 October, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to an incident on Robin Drive, Edleston.
At 9.49am, one fire engine from Nantwich arrived at the South Cheshire housing estate, discovering smoke coming from a property.
Nantwich firefighters used a high pressure fan to clear the smoke and ensure everyone was safe.

No one was injured in the incident, with firefighters quickly leaving the scene.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Firefighters were called to a smoke alarm sounding in Edleston.
"A high pressure fan was used to clear smoke from the property, which is believed to have been caused by burnt cooking.
"A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots."
