Driver and passenger in hospital following car and tractor crash

The driver and passenger of a car were taken to hospital, following a serious South Cheshire crash involving a tractor.
On Friday 16 January, emergency services were alerted to an incident on The B5074 Nantwich Road, Church Minshull.
At 11.43am, Cheshire Police, North West Ambulance Service and Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service arrived at the scene, discovering a two-vehicle collision.
The driver was safely released from the vehicle and handed over to the care of North West Ambulance Service to be taken to the hospital for further assessment.
Firefighters made the vehicle safe and packed away equipment. Highways were requested to support the clean up, and when safe, the road was reopened.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "At 11.48am on Friday 16 January, police received reports of a collision on Nantwich Road, Church Minshull.
"The collision involved a car and a tractor.
"The driver and passenger of the car were taken to hospital as a precaution."
