American TikTok star visits 'absolutely packed' pub in Nantwich

An American TikTok star visited an "absolutely packed" Nantwich pub to try out its food this March, rating two out of three dishes a nine out of 10.
Food vlogger, Kalani Smith, known as Kalani Ghost Hunter, from Nashville, reviewed The Leopard, London Road, on Friday 7 March, after seeing "awesome reviews" online.
Upon entry into the Nantwich venue, Kalani was shocked how full it was, with staff telling him it was "the busiest place within 20 miles of here."

After checking out The Leopard's menu, Kalani decided to order a steak and ale pie, chip shop platter and a giant mozzerala stick.
The Tiktoker was served the mozzerela stick first, stunned at the "incredible" amount of oozing cheese.
Kalani said: "That is the most cheese I have ever had in a mozzerela stick. That is insane. That is really good." He went on to rate this item a nine out of 10.
Next up was the Leopard's chip shop platter, including fish and chips, battered sausage, scampi, "crunchy bits" and sauces.
Kalani squeezed lemon all over the fish and chips, as well as coating everything in vinegar and adding some salt.
The Tiktoker started with the fish, labelling the batter as "very good." He then tried the sausage, dipping it in curry sauce which he described as "really good."

Kalani was impressed with The Leopard's chips saying "They are at least double fried but they might be triple fried. That's good."
Finally, Kalani tried the steak and ale pie, served with chips and gravy. The Tiktoker didn't mind that the dish didn't come with mashed potato, saying "that's okay with me."
Kalani was not overly impressed with the pie, saying it "wasn't the best," but said the steak tasted "pretty good."
"It has got pretty good flavour, I would like it to be a bit more runny on the inside, but that might just be my personal preference," he said.
"But, I will say it is nice, it is a fully enclosed pie. The gravy is a nice touch."
Kalani rated the dish a 6.9 out of 10, saying he now had a "very high bar" for steak and ale pie.

Overall, the Tiktoker was very positive about his experience at The Leopard saying other dishes on the menu "looked insane" but he didn't "have enough room" to try it all.
Kalani summarised his experience at The Leopard by saying: "They have a lot of awards here, super good staff and this place is packed. "They got some good food."
