13 arrests after 105 Nantwich incidents recorded in a week

Police in Nantwich made 13 arrests after 31 crimes were recorded in the town between 15 and 21 March.
A total of 105 incidents were reported, with domestic-related cases making up 18.1 per cent, followed by violence and harassment at 15.2 per cent and concern for safety at 12.4 per cent.
Of the crimes recorded, nine were for assault, alongside three shoplifting offences, three for possession of drugs and one residential burglary.
Those arrested included nine men and four women, aged between 15 and 54. Eight of those were Nantwich residents.
Outcomes included three people charged, five released on bail, two released under investigation, one recalled to prison, one given an out-of-court disposal and one released with no further action.
Arrests covered offences including possession of bladed articles, drink driving, drug offences and domestic-related incidents.
The highest number of crimes were recorded in Nantwich South and Stapeley, followed by Nantwich North and West and Bunbury.
Nantwich Police said: "It's been another busy and productive week for our local officers, working closely with partners and the community to keep our area safe."
