Nantwich Police dealt with over 120 incidents in one week as officers dealt with crime, safeguarding concerns and carried out targeted enforcement across the town and surrounding villages.
From December 8 to 14, a total of 121 incidents were reported to police. Of these, 12.4 per cent related to violence or harassment, while 10.7 per cent were domestic-related incidents. Reports of suspicious activity made up five per cent of calls received.
In the same period, officers recorded 34 crimes. This included nine assaults, two of which involved police officers, three drug-related offences, one theft from a motor vehicle and one push bike theft. No burglaries were reported.

Crime and incident reports were spread across the area, with 15 incidents in Nantwich North and West, six in South and Stapeley, six in Bunbury, three in Audlem, one in Wrenbury and none recorded in Wybunbury.
Six arrests were made over Friday and Saturday, involving three men and three women.
Two of the arrests were for drink-driving, with both drivers charged after providing breath samples more than three times the legal limit.
Another arrest involved a Nantwich woman who was later charged with breaching a Criminal Behaviour Order linked to the misuse of the 999 emergency system.
Beyond enforcement, officers were involved in a range of safeguarding and prevention work throughout the week.
On Monday, response officers attended a challenging assault incident at a care home involving vulnerable elderly residents.

Overnight into Tuesday, a vehicle was broken into behind Nantwich Fire Station, while later that day roads policing officers seized an uninsured motorbike on Barony Road.
On Thursday morning, police responded to reports of an abandoned vehicle on Alvaston Road preventing residents from leaving the street.
That afternoon, officers delivered a road safety presentation at Bridgemere School, speaking to pupils about staying safe on and around roads.
At 11.25am on Friday, plain-clothes officers arrested a 23-year-old man from Wigan, wanted by police following an incident on Welsh Row.
Later that evening, the community policing team carried out a night of action in the town centre, focusing on licensing checks, drink-driving enforcement, drug-related activity and parking issues.
Saturday saw a shift towards education and engagement, with officers joining Cheshire Fire and other partners at the Cops on the Square event.
Police spoke with families and drivers about road and water safety and also held a community surgery at Bridgemere Garden Centre.

Nantwich Police said: "While the statistics show the scale of demand on our officers, much of our work goes beyond the numbers.
"Safeguarding vulnerable people, preventing harm and working with the community remain at the heart of what we do.
"We are grateful to everyone who reported concerns, spoke with officers or took part in events this week, as your support helps us keep Nantwich safe for everyone."
