SureCare Central Cheshire, a trusted provider of high-quality domiciliary care services in South Cheshire, is pleased to develop leadership from within by announcing the appointment of Sarah Castelow as its new Registered Manager.

Sarah joined SureCare Central Cheshire in October 2020 when Covid was still having the devasting effect it had on so many.

Her induction was delivered online, PPE included masks, goggles and visors and care staff were having to isolate if they tested positive to keep clients safe at home.

Working through Covid didn't put Sarah off her chosen career in care and her attention to detail, desire to improve the quality of life for people and leadership skills were quickly recognised as she was promoted to a senior carer role.

But, Sarah didn't stop there as she went on to become a team leader, then care manager and having worked extremely hard to achieve her Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, proudly passing with a distinction, she has now been promoted to the highest position in home care – Registered Manager.

Sarah is now responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, which prides itself on providing care in the rural areas where people struggle to access care.

With a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement, she will support and develop the care team to ensure the highest standards of care for clients.

Sarah will liaise with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to ensure the service continues to meet and exceed all regulatory requirements.

Director and Joint Owner, Tina Jones, told Nub News: "We are so proud to promote Sarah as our Registered Manager.

"Having seen her develop over the last five years we knew that her experience gained within our business, her values, and dedication to high-quality care align perfectly with our mission.

"We consistently strive to provide our clients with high quality, person-centred care and support services that are tailored to the individual, enabling them to maintain their dignity and independence at home."

SureCare Central Cheshire provide a range of care services from assisting to get up or go to bed, medication administration, meal preparation and exercising to companionship, accompanying to appointments and taking out on day trips.

As well as more specialised support such as dementia care, catheter care, stoma support and PEG feeds.

Fellow Director and Joint Owner, Kirstie Hercules, said: "Having experienced our company values from day one Sarah leads by example, consistently going above and beyond, and has made recommendations that have been implemented and improved the quality of care we provide as a team.

"We can't wait to see how she further supports the team to deliver outstanding care as she takes the business forward now that she is our Registered Manager."

To accompany their visiting care calls SureCare Central Cheshire also provide night care or live-in care across South Cheshire, supporting individuals to remain independent, safe and well in their own homes.

In talking about taking on the role of Registered Manager, Sarah said: "I am so proud to be taking on this promotion. I am truly passionate about delivering outstanding home care and have a fantastic team that I work closely with.

"The role can be challenging and stressful, however the rewards that you get from supporting others to live in their own homes makes it all worth it.

"The people we care for and meet along the way are incredible, we learn from them and pick up traditions too such as buying daffodils in February as a sign of Spring and hope.

"We are rated 10 out of 10 on the country's leading home care review website and seeing the client and family reviews makes me so proud.

"Achieving the Top 20 Home Care Provider Award for the North West in 2025 shows how dedicated to providing quality care our team is.

"I am very proud of this promotion which was made possible by the ongoing support and guidance from Tina and Kirstie.
