Role ResponsibilitiesAs Corporate and Commercial Solicitor or Legal Executive, you will take responsibility for your own caseload while contributing to the continued growth of an established specialist department. Your work will include:Managing your own corporate and commercial caseload with appropriate support and supervision available.Working closely with an experienced Director on a varied range of corporate and commercial matters.Advising companies, partnerships and individuals on commercial agreements and documentation, including contracts and terms and conditions.Supporting clients with the sale and purchase of companies and businesses and related corporate transactions.Assisting with wider commercial matters arising from the department's established workload, including contentious commercial, debt recovery and insolvency-related work where appropriate.Building strong client relationships through practical, commercially aware and client-focused advice.Contributing to the expansion and development of the Corporate and Commercial department.Person SpecificationApplications are welcomed from qualified lawyers who are ready to manage their own matters within a supportive specialist team.
