Dot Partners are supporting a well-established and growing accountancy practice who are looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Accounts Executive / Accounts Manager.This is a varied and client-facing role, ideal for someone who enjoys technical accounting work alongside building trusted client relationships and supporting junior team members.The firm is known for its collaborative culture, strong technical standards, and commitment to developing people at every level.The RoleYou will take responsibility for a portfolio of clients, ensuring high-quality delivery across accounts preparation, VAT, and management reporting.Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing an allocated client portfolio and meeting reporting deadlines
  • Reviewing working papers, financial statements and planning documentation
  • Reviewing VAT returns and tax computations
  • Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and internal procedures
  • Acting as main point of contact for your clients
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members
  • Identifying opportunities for additional services
  • Attending client meetings alongside senior team members where required
About You
  • AAT qualified
  • Strong background in accountancy practice
  • Solid technical knowledge of UK GAAP and statutory accounts
  • Confident using Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills and proactive client approach
  • Organised, deadline-driven, and collaborative
Package
  • £38,000 - £45,000 per annum
  • ASAP start available
