Writing with Purpose
Journalling & Writing for Wellbeing Workshops, Training & Resources
- In-person journalling circles in Nantwich at The Nantwich Clinic
- Online journalling circles
- Nature journalling walks
- Local retreats
Calm, supportive spaces for reflection. Guided prompts, visual activities, and mindfulness to move what feels heavy from our heads onto the page. Journalling offers:
- Gentle ways to ease stress and quieten anxious minds
- Help to process emotions instead of suppressing them, so feelings pass through rather than weighing you down
- Support for wellbeing, both mentally and physically – a few minutes at a time
- A practice to build self-awareness and self-trust, noticing unhelpful patterns and responding with informed clarity
- No experience needed or equipment required – no spelling, writing or grammar police present
Journalling circles, nature journalling walks, and wellness retreat collaborations across Cheshire and Staffordshire are available in person and online, designed to be affordable and accessible. Fully insured and enhanced DBS certified. Writing with Purpose has working partnerships with Stoke-on-Trent Libraries, Cheshire East Rangers, and Alsager Town Council, alongside local charities and private organisations.
All sessions are delivered by Anna Woolliscroft, Journalling Facilitator and Writing for Wellbeing Specialist, and founder of Writing with Purpose. She is a certified Journal to the Self Instructor with a Master's in Creative Writing and Wellbeing.
